Pre-Order Sandwich

Story Synopsis

Deli owner Marcus Yi notices that customers begin arriving at precisely the same moment to pick up sandwiches they have never ordered, yet each one is exactly what they were craving. The orders, he discovers with mounting unease, are being placed by an ordinary sandwich he baked himself the previous day, which now seems to know every customer's unspoken desires.
