The Polka Dot Helmet

Story Synopsis

When a riding accident leaves Lujain with a traumatic brain injury, doctors say she'll never compete again, but her stubborn younger sister Hessa trains their old pony to give Lujain back the show-jumping ring. Together they discover, through slow afternoons in the arena, that recovery is a course of many small fences, not a single triumphant jump.
