Story Synopsis
Jude, a deaf university student and competitive rower, joins a hearing crew whose captain doubts his ability to keep pace without a coxswain's shouted commands. Through a homemade system of paddle taps, shoulder pressure, and pure intuition, Jude teaches the boat to listen with its body and to win against every odd.
