Story Synopsis

Night watchman Henrik Boe begins noticing that the streetlamps along his route flicker in patterns too deliberate to be faulty wiring, translating painstakingly into the names of long-missing persons. The list of names, he realizes with mounting dread, is growing longer each evening without fail, and the latest entry added tonight is his very own.
